Vanhala adds: ““The Coldest Heart” is one of the very first songs written for The cemetery horizon and it's an obvious homage to “The Green Man”, but in a very gentlemanly way. It’s a heavy hitter for a dark summer 2024 hit.”

When The cemetery horizon released his first single, “Violent storm”in April, Vanhala commented: “Weather forecasts indicate that a Nordic Gothic storm is brewing. The mood of the song is heavily inspired by the deserted roads of Goth-Emburg late at night and their desperate stories of loneliness and loss in the unique beautiful misery and sorrow of the Nordic countries. Gothic.”

Stanne “It’s about built-up frustration and how it can spiral out of control, the feeling of helplessness and how it can take over.”

Kallio concluded: “It's a simple, rocking song that represents the band perfectly.”

The video for “Violent storm” was filmed by Patrick Ullaeus (Revolver Film Company) and it documents a very special moment in the group's history.

“The video is about how this strange group of friends literally comes together,” said Vanhala. Kallio added: “We walk through an old cemetery and meet as a group for the very first time.”

Regarding the second single, “Into the Darkness”, Stanne said: “It's a song about losing one's sense of self in all kinds of misery and doubt.” Kallio added: “I like to think people feel the melody and the vibe with this one. It takes me back to a goth nightclub in Düsseldorf in 1996. There's a lot of smoke, a lot of lights, good melodies, a nice atmosphere.” and a regular rhythm.” Vanhala said: “After the first single, it shows another side of goth. Goths like to dance… in the dark. Dance with themselves or with myself, like Billy Idol once said, which had a valid point. “
