Sioux Falls driver who killed two people identified

SIOUX FALLS SD (MITCHELLNOW) Sioux Falls police have identified Damion Laurelez, 17, of Sioux Falls, as the driver of the vehicle that killed two people last month in Sioux Falls. Laurelez faces 1^st and 2^sd Charges of involuntary manslaughter and vehicular homicide are filed and is being held on $50,000 bail.

Witnesses and surveillance cameras placed Laurelez at the scene of the crash, driving at speeds in excess of 75 mph. The accident occurred after an all-night party. Laurelez's blood tests showed the presence of alcohol and THC, but this was not reflected in the criminal charges.

Damion Laurelez was charged as an adult.
