Shreveport, 11, missing and suspected of being on the run

The Shreveport Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a La'Traymon Hayes, an 11-year-old runaway.

La'Traymon was last seen on June 3, 2024, in the 7400 block of Glenleaf Road in Shreveport, Louisiana. It is described as being 5'1″ tall, weighing approximately 100 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

The Shreveport Police Department urges anyone with information on the whereabouts of La'Traymon to contact them immediately at 318-673-7300. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as we work to ensure La'Traymon's safe return.

Louisiana's law regarding runaways is outlined in the Louisiana Children's Code, Title VII, Art. 728 and Chapter 13 of the Runaway and Homeless Youth Act. The law defines a runaway as a child under the age of 18 who is absent from the home of his or her guardian without their consent. The law also defines a guardian as a person who provides a residence for the child or is legally obligated to care for the child, such as a parent, guardian, or legal guardian.
