The arrest warrant was based on information showing he was involved in a shooting that resulted in the death of Montest Mincey, 44, police said.

The arrest followed a block party along Southland Drive that turned violent on June 1. Officers in the area reported hearing gunshots coming from the party around 10 p.m.

Two people, including Mincey and Maricus Kirk, 21, died at the scene. Two other people were injured but survived.

A fundraiser for Mincey's family says she is the mother of three children.

The Rock Hill Police Department announced the arrest of D'markieoun Ji'shae Clyburn, 19, Friday, charging him with Mincey's murder. Clyburn was arrested in Lancaster County and is being taken to the Rock Hill Jail. He will then be officially served with his assassination warrant.

Barrino was taken to the Rock Hill Jail where he received his warrant and was officially booked into custody.

A person who spoke anonymously to WCNC Charlotte said they saw people wearing ski masks during the shooting.

Detectives are continuing their investigation.
