Shooting at Burien Transit Center leaves 1 injured Saturday morning

A man was shot near the Burien Transit Center late in the morning of Saturday, June 22, 2024, prompting a rapid response from multiple law enforcement agencies.

The King County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) Communications Center received multiple 911 calls regarding the shooting around 11:17 a.m.

Deputies from Burien, unincorporated King County, Metro Transit and Sound Transit quickly responded to the scene.
