Shiva Rajkumar on Darshan's arrest for alleged murder: 'We can't do anything…'

Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar spoke to the press about Darshan's arrest at the inauguration of the new Producers Association building. According to Times Now, the actor sympathised with Darshan and the families of murder victim Renukaswamy. Here's what he had to say. “Everything is destiny”

Shiva Rajkumar spoke to the press after Darshan's arrest.

Shiva admitted that he was cautious while commenting on the alleged Darshan murder case. He was quoted as saying, “Destiny exists. We can't do anything about it. One has to first ask oneself if one is right before saying something. It hurts when something like this happens.”

As an investigation is still underway, Shiva also said that one should wait for the outcome before concluding. He added, “Renukaswamy and Darshan’s family are pained by this. I feel sad looking at Darshan’s son. We have to face everything. An investigation is underway. Let’s wait for the outcome. Whatever is meant to be, will be. I don’t want to say anything more about it. It’s all destiny.”

Darshan meets his wife and son

Darshan recently met his wife Vijayalakshmi and son Vinish in the central jail. After meeting him, his wife wrote on Instagram, “It’s sad that we are in this situation today where we have to stay away from him. I spoke to him in detail about the situation outside and it touched his heart. He urged all his celebrities to stay calm and focus on good deeds and he is sure to be a part of your prayers.”

Vijayalakshmi also urged her fans to remain calm, adding, “Your calm will be our greatest strength. This too shall pass. Truth will triumph.”

The Darshan Murder Case

Darshan, Pavithra Gowda and their associates were taken into custody on June 11 and will remain arrested till July 4 in connection with the alleged murder of Renukaswamy. The Special Economic Offenses Court in Bengaluru recently passed the order to keep them in judicial custody, according to ANI.
