Sheriff's Reports 06/27/24 – Rappahannock Record

Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie This week, misdemeanor charges were filed against eight people.

A 28-year-old Lancaster man was charged June 19 with two counts of petit larceny.

A 56-year-old Grampian, Pa., man was charged June 19 with disorderly conduct, trespassing and loitering.

A 23-year-old White Stone man was charged June 20 with driving while his license is suspended or revoked.

A Farnham man, 43, was charged June 20 with failure to appear in court on an underlying charge.

A 37-year-old Douglasville, Ga., woman was charged June 20 with assault and battery of a family or household member.

A 35-year-old Ashland man was charged June 21 with destruction of property and appearing in public while intoxicated.

A Lancaster man, 58, was charged June 22 with violating a provision of a preliminary protection order.

A Weems man, 43, was charged June 23 with petit larceny.

Activity Report

June 17: Personnel responded to Morattico and Mary Ball roads for a fallen street sign, to the 1000 block of Corrotoman Drive for disorderly conduct and to the 12000 block of Mary Ball Road for a disabled vehicle.

June 18: Personnel responded to the 100 block of Doggett Lane for a suspicious person, to the 1300 block of Caroline Street for legal advice, to the 800 block of Nuttsville Road for a verbal dispute, to the 800 block of 400 houses of Chesapeake Drive for a disabled vehicle, to the 800 block of Rappahannock Drive for an intoxicated person, to the 4000 block of Windmill Point Road for a single-vehicle traffic accident and to 6000 block of Mary Ball Road for a suspicious person.

June 19: Personnel responded to the 19000 block of Mary Ball Road for an adult welfare check, to the 100 block of Cottage Lane for a suspicious package, to Mary Ball and Merry Point roads for a reckless driver, and at Irvington Road and Entertainment Drive for a suspicious person.

June 20: Personnel responded to the 200 block of Ocran Road for a theft, the 10 block of Brent Court for a theft, Harris and Irvington roads for a disabled vehicle, the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a fight in progress, to Edgewood Lane and King Cater Drive for a suspicious vehicle, to Fox Field Lane and Slabtown Road for a single-vehicle traffic accident, and to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a citizen requesting an emergency protection order.

June 21st: Personnel responded to the 100 block of Flats Lane for a downed tree, to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a civil complaint, to the 9000 block of Courthouse Road for an assault, to the in the 6000 block of Mary Ball Road for a theft, at Old Saint Johns Road and Irvington Road for a traffic complaint, at Mosquito Point Road for a reckless driver and in the 8000 block of River Road for a verbal dispute.

June 22: Staff responded to the 4000 block of Lara Road for a suicidal person, to Yeocomico Drive for violation of a protection order, to the 10 block of Whispering Pines Road for a civil complaint, to the 1000 block 100 block of Little Bay Road for a noise complaint, to the 400 block of Beach Road for a reckless driver, to the 3000 block of Windmill Point Road for a late boater, to the 1300 block of River Road for a suicidal person, to the 5000 block of Irvington Road for destruction of property, and to the 100 block of York Road for a noise complaint.

June 23: Personnel responded to the 600 block of Blackstump Road for a civil complaint, to Pinckardsville Road for a suspicious person, to Hickory Hollow Nature Trail for suspicious activity, to Mary Ball and Old Salem roads for a disabled vehicle, to the 3000 block of Mary Ball Road for a verbal argument, to the 600 block of Beach Road for a downed tree, to Cherry Point Road for a downed tree, to the 100 block of Havenwood Road for suspicious activity, to the of houses 2000 of Weems Road for a suspicious vehicle.

Staff also conducted 18 traffic stops, issued 18 summonses, assisted three motorists, recorded a deer collision, processed a traffic stop request, investigated nine building alarms, processed a mental health order, recorded two inmate transports and received five E911 hang-up calls. , and responded to two calls to animal control.

Fire calls

The Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at 200 Old Fairgrounds Way and a fire alarm at 97 North Main Street.

White Stone VFD responded to downed power lines on fire at Sir Guy Drive and Weems Road.

Johnny Beauchamp, Sheriff of Northumberland County this week, charges were filed against 21 people.

Crimes

Dakota Anastasio Galves, 29, of Port Haywood, was charged May 26 with capias to show cause issued in Northumberland County Circuit Court for violation of probation.

Rayquawn Tylik Ball, 25, of Lancaster, was charged May 29 with credit card theft and petit larceny. These were Northumberland County arrest warrants served by the Warsaw Police Department.

Terry Maurice Gordon, 63, of Hampton, was charged June 5 with a PB-15 for a felony offense and a capias to show cause was issued in Northumberland County Circuit Court and served by the department Hampton Police Department.

Richard F. Acheson, 40, of Reedville, was charged June 14 with failure to obey a law enforcement signal, reckless driving and failure to have vehicle inspected.

Jennie Lee Lansberry, 37, of Heathsville, was charged June 20 with unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Kelsey Ann Otwell, 28, of Reedville, was charged June 22 with possession of a Schedule I/II drug.

Lorraine Anne Jones, 45, of West Point, was charged June 23 with breaking and entering.

Offenses

A 39-year-old man from Jacksonville, Florida, was charged May 24 with criminal trespass.

A Heathsville man, 46, was charged May 24 with criminal trespass.

A Farnham woman, 35, was charged May 24 with a capias/dispossession of body issued by Northumberland County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court for non-payment of child support. She was arrested by Pulaski County police.

A 54-year-old Heathsville woman was charged May 25 with battery on a family member.

A Leesburg man, 31, was charged May 26 on a capias/disposal of body issued by Loudoun General District Court for the original charge of reckless driving and failure to report to PCC. He was arrested by Northumberland County.

A Lottsburg man, 42, was charged May 26 with battery.

A Norfolk man, 42, was charged May 26 with driving under the influence and charged on summons with refusing to take a breathalyzer test.

A 23-year-old Heathsville man was charged June 12 with indecent assault.

A 52-year-old Heathsville woman was charged June 12 with criminal trespass.

A 34-year-old Baltimore, Maryland subject was charged on June 13 with a capias/dispossession of body issued by Northumberland County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court for failure to appear.

A 23-year-old Reedville woman was charged June 21 with unauthorized use of a vehicle.

A 61-year-old Callao man was charged June 23 with assault and battery on a family member.

A 27-year-old Reedville man was charged June 23 with animal cruelty.

A 25-year-old Heathsville man was charged June 23 with animal cruelty.
