Sheriff's Report: Officers Arrest 'Naked' Man in Highland Area

Summit County Sheriff's Report.

A naked man was reported walking on Highland Drive late Sunday evening.

Officers arrived in the neighborhood and found a 50-year-old man standing in the road, shirtless and without shoes, according to arrest documents. He was uncooperative with law enforcement and appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The man said he had not been drinking or taking drugs. The officer asked him why he was standing outside without any clothes (except for a pair of shorts). He said the officer had taken him out of bed while he was sleeping and brought him there.

The officer tried to inquire further, but the man continued to be aggressive and ask what he was being charged with. He was ordered to walk home or be dropped off in a car, the report said.

However, the man did not want to comply with the orders of the deputies.

He was eventually arrested and booked into Summit County Jail on charges of obscenity and disorderly conduct. He was later released on his own recognizance.
