The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a troublemaker they believe is responsible for a series of crimes on the west side of Mount Clemens.

Investigators say they have received several reports of vandalism and theft from vehicles on Cass Avenue and Wilson Boulevard, between North Avenue and Groesbeck Highway. The incidents took place from May 29 to June 2.

The sheriff's office released a short video Wednesday of the thief, who they described only as a “bumble-haired man.”

“The suspect is seen on security video damaging a fence, attempting to gain access to a resident's yard, crossing yards, and crossing vehicles,” deputies said in a statement posted on social media.

The video can be seen at facebook.com/macombcountysheriffsoffice.

Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to contact Detective Jared Suminski at [email protected].
