Sheriff reveals details of Osceola County shooting – WFTV

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — The Osceola County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded Saturday afternoon to a shooting at 2460 Bronco Drive Saint Cloud.

Deputies said they received information that Joseph Peck, 29, had been shot in his car parked outside the residence.

Deputies said when they arrived, they took life-saving measures.

Peck was then transported to a local hospital and died from his injuries, deputies said.

OCSO said suspect Joshua Michael Alan Miller, 29, immediately fled into a wooded area behind the residences.

Investigators said they found video showing the shooting.

Deputies said the video showed Miller walking toward Peck's parked car yelling “where's my pool pump,” Miller then kicked the driver's door, opened the door and began using the tip with his gun to repeatedly hit Peck in the head. The video showed that one of the shots, a gunshot, could be heard.

The video then shows Miller fleeing the scene.

Sunday morning, deputies found and arrested Miller and he is charged with murder with a firearm and burglary with a vehicle with a battery.

Deputies said after Miller's arrest, he confessed to the accused crimes.
