Sex offender arrested in Fremont

FREMONT, Calif. — A registered sex offender was arrested in Fremont on several outstanding arrest warrants, according to the Fremont Police Department, which credited the arrest to “the community for their assistance in reporting the activity criminal.”

Brandon Jacques, 41, who also goes by the alias Brandon Cramer, was investigated May 12 for trespassing on railroad tracks in the area of ​​Sullivan Underpass and Mission Boulevard, police reported Friday.

Fremont Police Dispatch informed officers on scene that Jacques was a registered sex offender with four outstanding felony warrants. Three of them were related to failure to register as a sex offender and one was related to a parole violation.

Jacques was arrested and incarcerated at Santa Rita Prison.

Police say his prior felony convictions include sodomy of a drugged victim, failure to register as a sex offender and parole violation. He was also convicted of misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon, battery on a peace officer/firefighter/emergency medical technician, exhibition of a deadly weapon, battery and resisting/delaying an officer Peace.
