Several people arrested after fatal stabbing in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — Pittsburgh police are questioning several people after a fatal stabbing in the Crawford-Roberts neighborhood early Wednesday.

Police were dispatched shortly after 12:30 a.m. to reports of a disturbance at an apartment building in the 1600 block of Colwell Street. When police arrived, they found a man in the hallway who had been stabbed in the chest.

Pittsburgh EMS pronounced him dead at the scene. The victim's identity will be released by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office, police said.

No arrests had been made as of Wednesday morning, but police said numerous people were being questioned as part of the ongoing investigation.
