Seneca County Sheriff's Office Continues DARE Program Thanks to Local Support

The Seneca County Sheriff's Office is proud to continue teaching the DARE curriculum to students at South Seneca, Romulus and Waterloo schools. This ten-week program helps young people make safe and responsible choices.

DARE covers topics such as the effects of alcohol and tobacco, bullying, citizenship, peer pressure, listening and communication skills, and seeking help. The program is funded entirely by donations, which provide workbooks, materials and end-of-program celebrations.

As the 2024 program comes to a close, the Sheriff's Office thanks the sponsors who make DARE possible: Seneca Meadows Landfill, Generations Bank, Mull Funeral Home, Connie's Diner, Savannah Bank, Valley Pharmacy, D&M Grocery, Community Bank and French Family Dentistry.
