Fire crews quickly mobilized to contain the fire, which was effectively contained, Booth said. Crews are currently working to extinguish any remaining hot spots to keep the area safe.

Fortunately, the flames did not reach the residence, Booth said. However, smoke entered the house through the air conditioning system.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the SFD.

Residents are advised to take necessary precautions and remain vigilant. In the meantime, it's critical to note that the area's fire danger rating is currently “high” and the vegetation is highly flammable, Booth said.
