NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio (WJW) – The FOX 8 I-Team has uncovered new developments in the case of Bionca Ellis, the woman accused of murdering a toddler outside a North Olmsted grocery store.

Many of you are waiting for justice in this case, but we have discovered that what is happening now is being hidden from the public.

A Cuyahoga County judge has just issued an order under seal.

Ellis was recently charged with stabbing and killing Julian Wood in front of a giant eagle.

The I-Team revealed that Ellis was released from jail days earlier after a violation of his probation when a Rocky River judge failed to act on his recommendation that Ellis undergo a psychological examination.

His case has just begun to be reviewed by the county court and, again, the record shows a June 25 entry with an order from Judge John Russo filed under seal.

A defense attorney we contacted had no comment. County prosecutors are also not commenting.

Ellis behaved strangely in court and on police videos, making faces, asking to be arrested and trying to respond to a judge in Spanish.

The next court hearing is scheduled for next month. Cuyahoga County prosecutors have not announced whether or not they will seek the death penalty.
