COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The second of two victims in a fatal shooting at a candlelight vigil in east Columbus has been identified.

According to the Franklin County Coroner's Office, Jakwaun Kimbro, 18, was shot shortly before 10 p.m. at Krumm Park on Alton Avenue, where a candlelight vigil was being held for another shooting victim.

Kimbro and Lonnie Johnston, 29, were both pronounced dead minutes after the shooting at 9:54 p.m. The coroner's office did not release Kimbro's name on June 6, as it did for Johnston, because he had only “provisionally identified” him. He added that once the second victim was positively identified, his name would also be released.

Police have identified two persons of interest in connection with the double murder, but no arrests have been made. Surveillance images released by Columbus Police of the two persons of interest are below.

Columbus Police Sgt. Joseph Albert said the vigil held at the time of the shooting was for Da'Mya Cummerlander, who was shot and killed in the early hours of June 2 in the 2600 block of Woodsedge Road. Albert noted that at least 50 people, possibly more, were on scene when officers arrived.

Columbus police have since arrested Kenneth Hariston, 20, in connection with Cummerlander's death. Although Deputy Chief Smith Weir said investigators reviewed footage of the shooting at the vigil, they have not named a suspect in the case.
