Second person charged with trafficking teenage girl in La Crosse area

A second person has been charged with sex trafficking a teenage girl in the La Crosse area.

Courtney Clickner was indicted in La Crosse County Circuit Court on a single count of child trafficking. She is being held at the La Crosse County Jail on $1,000 cash bail.

Dwayne Davis, 30, of La Crosse, is also in custody. He was charged with child trafficking, sexual exploitation of children, enticement/prostitution of children, enticement of children/drugs and bail jumping and possession of cocaine, obstructing an officer and possession of marijuana.

Davis was arrested June 6 and ordered held on $50,000 cash bail.

According to the criminal complaint, police were called June 4 to a Kwik Trip on Mormon Coulee Road, where a 16-year-old girl said she was afraid of a man she described as a “pimp.” don't kill her. The girl said the man, later identified as Davis, hired her for sex on 15 different occasions. She said Davis became enraged after becoming convinced the girl was working for someone else.

The girl told police she went on “dates” primarily in La Crosse, but also had sex with men in Onalaska, Sparta, Tomah and Trempealeau.

The complaint states that Clickner was involved in posting the minor's profile and compromising photos on a website used to facilitate sex trafficking.

Clickner's next court date is a civil appeal on July 16.

Davis has a calendar call scheduled for July 10.
