Second man arrested for shooting 2 teens by Pixley, deputies say | YourCentralValley.com

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A second arrest has been made following a shooting of two teenagers in Pixley, the Tulare County Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday.

Authorities say that around noon Tuesday, detectives identified and arrested LaVaughn Johnson, 21, of Visalia, as the suspect involved in the June 4 shooting of two 14-year-old boys in Pixley.


Investigators say one boy was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the other was transported in critical condition. On Saturday, June 9, one of the boys died.

Deputies say on June 9, they arrested Jeremiah Graham, 23, of Tulare, after a short foot chase. Detectives say Graham was initially charged with two counts of attempted murder.

Deputies say Johnson will face charges of homicide and attempted homicide.

The coroner has not yet identified the victim.
