Search warrant finds weapons, drugs and cash in Salineville home | News, Sports, Jobs

SALINEVILLE — The Columbiana County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Monday at 74 W. Main St., Salineville, locating weapons, cash and drugs, including 15 grams of methamphetamine .

County Sheriff Brian McLaughlin announced the search result in a social media press release Tuesday, noting that the sheriff's office assisted the DTF in executing the search warrant.

Officers met with a resident, as well as Charles “Greg” Wilson, who was taken into custody on active arrest warrants from Carroll County and the State of Georgia.

Additional charges are pending lab results.

The search uncovered five firearms, $557 in cash, approximately 15 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 1 gram of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

The DTF thanked the County Sheriff's Office, County Attorney's Office, Salem Police Department, Lisbon Police Department, Columbiana Police Department, East Liverpool Police Department, Dept. St. Clair Township Police Department and the Perry Township Police Department for their cooperation and assistance in this investigation.
