Search continues for missing 51-year-old Lake Perris man – Press Enterprise

The search continued this week for a 51-year-old man missing after jumping into Lake Perris on Saturday, June 15, authorities said.

About 4 p.m. that day, the victim jumped from a boat into open water at the west end of the lake, state park Superintendent John Rowe said.

Authorities began their search at the victim's last known location with assistance from the Riverside County Sheriff's Dive Team and Aviation Unit.

The victim was not found and subsequent searches on Sunday were also unsuccessful.

The authorities continued the search on Monday June 17, but no rescue had been announced at the beginning of the afternoon.
