Sean 'Diddy' Combs Named Defendant in Rape Lawsuit Against Son; Matches Details of Previous $30 Million Sexual Assault Suit Against Mogul

Just over a week ago, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ son Christian was handcuffed as law enforcement in Los Angeles and Miami raided his father’s home on sex trafficking charges. Now, the 26-year-old is himself facing charges of sexual assault by a steward on a luxury yacht the family chartered in late 2022 — and Combs Sr. is also facing charges.

“Although DEFENDANT S. COMBS was always on the yacht, his sons, DEFENDANT C. COMBS and Justin Combs, stayed at a nearby luxury villa but joined their father aboard the yacht almost every evening,” reads -on in the complaint filed late by a jury. Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court by Grace O'Marcaigh, then the yacht's steward.

Although the elder Combs is not charged with sexual assault in the O'Marcaigh case, he is believed to have aided and abetted the situation.

“The makeup of the yacht quickly evolved from just DEFENDANT S. COMBS and his family to a constant rotation of alleged sex workers and other high-profile celebrities such as French Montana and actor Cuba Gooding, Jr.” , the complaint says: with the “extremely unpleasant” Oscar winner making another appearance in another Combs trial.

“DEFENDANT S. COMBS transformed what was sold as a wholesome family excursion into a hedonistic environment. According to PLAINTIFF, this led to an unexpected increase in workload for her and her colleagues as well as unwanted exposure to illegal drug use, sex work and general chaos.

Christian Combs and Sean Combs to perform in London in November 2023

While noting “several high-profile guests” on board” (many with their names redacted) of the yacht anchored off the island of St. Martin, O'Marcaigh's action indicates that she “was aware as Rodney Jones (“Mr. Jones”), a producer who was employed to work on the Love Album: Off Gridhad to be on standby for musical recordings, often late at night.

Amid a plethora of allegations made public against the “Bad Boy For Life” singer since Combs' ex-girlfriend Cassandra Ventura launched a quickly settled rape and abuse case in November , this new affair is more explained than ever.

There is an apparent transcript of part of the attack.

With Diddy instructing him to keep the microphones on at all times in the boat's makeshift studio, the scene of O'Marcaigh's “sexual assault and drugging” by Christian Combs was recorded by Jones, aka Lil Rod. At one point, for example, O'Marcaigh tells the younger Combs, “Excuse me, you don't touch my legs like that. I'll move my legs wherever I want.”

Later, Christian Combs allegedly followed O'Marcaigh out of the recording studio into the hallway, where he attempted to force the steward “to perform oral copulation on him” before another member of the crew entered. .

The next day, a devastated O'Marcaigh said she was “reprimanded” by the ship's captain for what happened. She was also ordered to continue working with the Combs family, and because the captain allegedly received “a generous tip” from Combs Sr., O'Marcaigh said she was fired from what had been her dream job a few months later.

O'Marcaigh, represented by Tyrone Blackburn, is seeking various unspecified damages.

Meanwhile, O'Marcaigh's seven-claim complaint graphically and significantly matches a number of allegations and behaviors made in a $30 million sexual assault and sex trafficking lawsuit filed in February against Sean Combs by Jones.

O'Marcaigh and Jones share an attorney in Blackburn, based in New York. That's part of why Combs' attorney, Aaron Dyer, fought back so hard against this latest lawsuit.

“This is simply another obscene and baseless claim by Tyrone Blackburn – just like what he filed in the Rodney Jones lawsuit, which he still has not served,” the lawyer said today. Pillsbury Winthrop lawyer Shaw Pittman LLP told Deadline.

“This complaint is filled with the same kind of fabricated lies and irrelevant facts we’ve come to expect from Blackburn,” Dyer added. “That’s exactly why the New York federal judge slapped him with a slap in the face two days ago for inappropriate ‘behavior.’” [filing] “Cases brought in federal court are designed to attract media attention, embarrass defendants with salacious allegations, and pressure them to resolve their disputes quickly,” which is why he was referred to the Disciplinary Committee for the Southern District of New York. We will file a motion to dismiss this outrageous complaint.

With a telephone hearing scheduled for April 9 in the Jones case, Blackburn is seeking leave to file a second amended complaint in that case in federal court. No motion has yet been filed in the O'Marcaigh case.

It remains to be seen what impact next week's hearing will have on that case, or vice versa, but the two trials are now intrinsically linked.
