Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly smashed a chair over a music executive's head and left him bloody because he was dating ex Kim Porter, the executive's mother told Rolling Stone.

It was one of several revelations, some new and some previously released, revealed in an in-depth investigation into the music mogul released Wednesday.

Combs was reportedly furious about Porter's budding romance with music director Shakir Stewart. In the summer of 2000, while music industry bigwigs were celebrating LA Reid's wedding in Italy, Combs walked up to Stewart's room after the ceremony and smashed a chair over her head, Rolling reported Stone.

“He left him bleeding on the floor of a hotel in Italy,” the alleged victim’s mother, Portia Stewart, reportedly said. “He had to get stitches.”

Combs wasn't finished, she said. He threatened to kill Stewart.

“That’s when I said you need to get out of this business,” Portia Stewart told Rolling Stone. “This man is crazy.”

Two close friends corroborated the post's story.

Stewart committed suicide in 2008 and Porter died of pneumonia in 2018.

Rolling Stone interviewed dozens of former associates ranging from friends to acquaintances to employees, as well as industry insiders and artists from Bad Boy Records, the label Combs founded in 1993. In total, More than 50 people agreed to be interviewed for the lengthy expose, many of them unofficially, the magazine said.

Diddy's alleged problematic behavior dated back at least to his days at Howard University, when he banged on a classroom window to get his girlfriend to drop class and go out, his former classmates said. class at Rolling Stone. Once, they allegedly saw him beat her with a belt after repeatedly yelling at her to get out of her dorm.

He faced several trials and numerous accusations of rape and abuse over the following decades. One was from Cassie Ventura, who filed a lawsuit last year, accusing him of rape, sex trafficking and years of abuse. Earlier this month, CNN aired footage captured by a hotel surveillance camera showing him beating Ventura in 2016. Combs apologized for what was captured on camera.

An expired statute of limitations means Combs cannot be prosecuted for the attack, the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office said after the video was released.

On March 25, federal agents searched Combs' properties in Miami and Los Angeles as part of a sex trafficking investigation. He could face an indictment before a federal grand jury in New York, according to witnesses who said they were called to testify. He could also lose his key to the city.
