Sean Combs Charged With Sex Trafficking, Sexual Assault in New Trial

Sean “Diddy” Combs faces new trial on sex trafficking and sexual assault charges.

In the lawsuit filed Wednesday in New York and obtained by PEOPLE, former adult film star Adria English accused Combs of forcing her into prostitution and sex work with guests at his infamous “white parties,” held annually at his homes in New York and Miami.

English alleges the offenses occurred between 2006 and 2009. She also claims she was forced to take drugs and was “unable to recall details” of parties held in Miami “due to the increased demand” that she “consume illicit drugs and alcohol while employed” under Combs.

Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment Holdings, Inc., as well as Vibe Magazine and Penske Media Corporation, among others, are also named in the lawsuit for allegedly facilitating the games.

Combs' attorney, Jonathan Davis, called the allegations “baseless” in a statement released to Weekly Entertainment.

“No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it will not change the fact that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone,” Davis said. “We live in a world where anyone can sue for any reason and with no evidence. Fortunately, there is a fair and impartial judicial process to uncover the truth and Mr. Combs is confident that he will prevail against these and other baseless accusations in court.”

English’s lawsuit is the ninth filed against the embattled music mogul for sexual assault since late last year, when his ex-girlfriend and R&B singer Cassie Ventura accused Combs of rape and years of controlling and physical abuse. Combs has denied all allegations against him. In May, CNN obtained surveillance footage from 2016 that showed Combs assaulting Ventura in a hotel hallway. In response, Combs posted a video apology on social media.
