Scholarship Winners: Freestone County Girls Do Well at Miss Teen Texas Pageant

Kenady Morris of Teague, Miss Freestone County's Teen 2022 and Miss Burleson's Teen, has earned a spot among the 13 semifinalists for Miss Texas' Teen 2024.

In addition to reaching the semifinals, Kenady won several scholarships during the week-long event. These included the Change Maker Scholarship, the What Love Can Do Scholarship and the Live Like Katie Joe Vaughn Scholarship, each worth $250.

Also winning scholarships were Brianna Latray of Groesbeck – Miss Fall Frolic's Teen, who won the Greg Soloman Heart of a Hero Scholarship worth $250 and Evangeline Arabie of Buffalo – Miss Buffalo Stampede's Teen, who won the Women in STEM Scholarship worth $250.

Congratulations to these young ladies.

Cadence Webster of Fairfield – Miss Freestone County Teen

Makenna Eppes of Fairfield – Miss Houston's Teen

Gabriella Trevino of Limestone County – Miss Limestone County Teen

Buffalo's Mikah Kessinger – Miss Leon County Teen

Lexi Goodson of Dew – Miss Tri-County's Teen

In addition, many young women participated in the contest as Lone Star Princesses. Among them are the following:

– Leon County – Harleigh DeBorde, Meia Gilley, Rachel Helfenbein and Savannah Fulmer

–Tri-County – Amelia Solley, Kelsie West, Natalie Easter, Gracie Franco, Haylee West and Selah Smith
