Salisbury murder victim identified as 36-year-old man: Sheriff's Department

A 36-year-old man has been identified as the victim of Friday's shooting in Salisbury who is currently being investigated as a homicide.

Here's what we know so far.

On Friday, around 12:30 p.m., deputies with the Wicomico County Sheriff's Department responded to the 900 block of Mineola Avenue in reference to a shooting. Upon arriving on scene, officers located the victim, Brookes Lamar Dashiell, 36, sitting in the driver's side of his vehicle.

The victim suffered numerous gunshot wounds and was transported to the TidalHealth emergency room, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Criminal Investigation Division responded and took over the investigation.
