But while setting off fireworks can be fun, the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District reminds people to use them safely and purchase them legally. “All fireworks are dangerous, especially if you don't use them as intended and follow proper safety precautions,” said Parker Wilbourn, spokesperson for Sacramento Metro Fire.
