RV in La Verkin, Utah catches fire after apparent explosion

LA VERKIN, Utah (ABC4) — The crews with Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue responded to a fire in an RV before noon Sunday, according to a social media post.

The homeowner told authorities he heard an explosion while inside his home. The owner then saw his RV was on fire when he got out, authorities said.

According to Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue, the homeowner was able to extinguish most of the fire by the time personnel arrived on scene.

“Our crews arrived on scene within minutes and ensured the fire was completely extinguished and checked for any expansion into the remainder of the trailer,” Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue said. on social networks.

No injuries were reported after the incident. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.

According to Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue, three different engines responded, as well as the La Verkin City Police Department.
