Royal fans notice surprising detail missing from Prince Archie's birth certificate

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's son, Prince Archie, has remained largely out of the public eye since his birth in 2019. Despite his parents' frequent media appearances, Archie and his sister Princess Lilibet have been kept away from the spotlight.

After Archie's birth, royal fans were quick to examine his publicly available birth certificate, where they noticed an unusual detail.

The official document lists Harry as “His Royal Highness Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex”, a title that notably omits “Prince”. This omission puzzled many, especially since William and Charles were both referred to as “Prince” on their children's birth certificates.

On the birth certificates of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, Prince William is identified as “His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Philip Louis, Duke of Cambridge”.

Similarly, King Charles was titled “His Royal Highness Prince Charles Philip Arthur George, Prince of Wales” on William and Harry's birth certificates.

Archie's birth certificate also revealed previously unknown information about his birth. He confirmed that Meghan had given birth at the private Portland Hospital in London, contradicting reports that she had chosen a home birth, the Express reports.

On the document, Meghan is named “Rachel Meghan, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex,” and her occupation is listed as “Princess of the United Kingdom.”

The royal couple were over the moon to welcome their baby boy at 5:26 a.m. on Monday, May 6.

Buckingham Palace released a statement confirming Prince Harry's attendance at the birth and shared the joyful news: “The Duchess's mother, Doria Ragland, who is delighted with the arrival of her first grandchild, is with Their Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage.”

Fast forward to June 4, 2021, Harry and Meghan were all smiles as they welcomed their daughter, Lilibet Diana, into the world in Santa Barbara. In an eyebrow-raising move, Harry included his HRH title on the birth certificate, listing “HRH” as his last name and “The Duke of Sussex” as his first name.

Meghan Markle had her birth name “Rachel Markle” on the document, with Meghan as her middle name, sparking conversation since both men were told they could not use their HRH titles after stepping down from their royal duties in early 2020.

During a candid visit to Nigeria, Meghan opened up about her little ones. The couple's first stop was at Lightway Academy in Abuja, a school that benefited from the generosity of the Archewell Foundation.

They were greeted by kindergarteners who performed songs and dances, prompting Harry to ask: “Is singing and dancing your favorite class?” and Meghan quickly added, “It's Lili's favorite class, maybe it's all the jumping.” »

Later, the duo visited a STEM class where enthusiastic students showed off the robot cars they had built.

During their visit to a local school, Prince Harry chatted with pupils about their passion for electronics, while Meghan Markle revealed their son Archie shared a similar interest in building things. The royal duo also took the opportunity to discuss mental health.

Meghan then shared a touching story about their daughter, Lilibet. Addressing the class, she said: “We all have our story. And there is no shame in any of your stories. Even in the most difficult or darkest days, everything is a pillar of your strength thanks to the presence of each of you. teachers see that in you. And we see it in you.

She went on to say, “And what's interesting is our daughter, Lili, is much, much smaller than you guys. She's about to turn three. And a few weeks ago , she looked at me and she just saw the reflection in my eyes.

And she said, “Mom, I see myself in you.” Oh, now she was really talking, literally. But I clung to those words in a very different way. And I thought, yes, I see me and you, and you see me and you, but as I look around this room, I also see myself in each of you.
