Yellowstone region. The patient had a history of heart problems leading to unhealthy heartbeats. During the ride, a few miles from the ranch, the woman felt like she wouldn't be able to get out and asked for help getting back to the ranch.

Gallatin County Sheriff's Search and Rescue volunteers from the West Yellowstone Section responded to the ranch. Volunteers deployed a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle and, as backup, a single-wheeled stretcher in case the ORV was unable to cross the terrain. Fortunately, volunteers were able to meet the female with the ORV and drive her to an ambulance waiting for them at the ranch.
