Last seen Wednesday after being taken to hospital following a fall

Riviello suffers from dementia-like symptoms after several mini-strokes. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue striped collared shirt, blue shorts and a New York Yankees cap. He lives in Manomet and has ties to Boxboro and Provincetown, as well as Clyde, New York and Brooklyn.

“Check the hangars, check the decks, check under the decks,” Plymouth Police Capt. Jason Higgins said.

Riviello's children said he was on his daily morning walk Wednesday when he fell and was found by two women who called an ambulance. Beth Israel told his family he may have broken his nose, but released him after just a few hours to “go home.”

“They wanted to give him stitches, which he refused,” Norris said. “His appearance might be altered. And they saw the damage to his brain from the strokes, so they knew he was mentally impaired. Our goal is to bring him home and later, We will make sure this doesn’t happen to other families.”

The family is expanding its search outside of Massachusetts, as Riviello is originally from New York.

“We have police in Clyde, New York, we have police in Brooklyn, New York,” Norris said. “We have flyers going all over the New York State Highway.”

Riviello moved to Plymouth about 18 months ago and his new neighbors aren't giving up on finding him.

“He's someone's grandfather, he's someone's father, he's someone's husband, he's someone's brother and we need him at home. house,” Norris said.

Anyone who has seen Riviello or has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Plymouth police.
