Revealed – Why Fiorentina will revive interest in Inter Milan teenage star

Fiorentina have reportedly reignited their interest in Inter Milan starlet Valentin Carboni and could look to secure his services this summer.

The 19-year-old is one of the most exciting youngsters to come through the ranks at the club in recent years.

He spent the last campaign on loan at Monza where he contributed with two goals and four assists in Serie A.

The youngster's impressive performances even earned him his senior debut for Argentina.

Last January, Fiorentina attempted to acquire his services by launching an offer worth 20 million euros.

However, the Nerazzurri rejected the offer, considering it insufficient.

But this summer, the Italian champions could be open to sacrifice the attacking midfielder in order to raise transfer funds.

And according to FcInterNewsFiorentina could revive their interest in Carboni.

As the source explains, The Viola are set to appoint Raffaele Palladino as their new manager, replacing the departing Vincenzo Italiano.

The report predicts that the forty-year-old will put pen to paper between Monday and Tuesday.

Therefore, FcInterNews believes that the arrival of Palladino will be another factor that pushes Carboni towards Florence.

The Argentine teenager gained the trust and esteem of the Italian coach during their time together at Monza.

Additionally, the Tuscan club could part ways with Nico Gonzalez and Jonathan Ikone this summer, paving the way for Carboni's arrival.

The stars could therefore align for Fiorentina and Carboni. Nevertheless, the club must forge an offer deemed satisfactory by the Nerazzurri.

The source expects Viola to make an opening offer worth €20 million plus bonuses to restart negotiations.
