Reminder: 15th Annual Dallas County Sheriff's All-Wheel Drive Show is Today | Raccoon Valley Radio

A reminder that today there are many vehicles parked in downtown Adel for an organization that helps support a good cause.

The 15th annual Dallas County Sheriff's All-Wheel Show takes place today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Downtown Square in Adel. The event supports the Special Olympics of Iowa and Dallas County. Sergeant Ray Dirksen told Raccoon Valley Radio the show featured up to 150 cars. He mentions that the event brought in $10,000 last year.

Dirksen says he enjoys participating in an event focused on a good cause. Adel firefighters will prepare a variety of meats for the car show. Judging will take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and awards will be presented at 2:30 p.m. Numerous awards will be given out during the show, including Best of Show and Special Olympics Choice.
