Remains found in Page County identified as missing man in 2022

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Page County Sheriff Chad Cubbage reported that human remains found last month in the county were those of a man missing since September 2022.

Cubbage reported on the department's Facebook page that the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed yesterday that the remains had been positively identified as Joshua Dee Bradford.

In the message, Cubbage offered his thoughts and prayers to the Bradford family. He also said his division was working tirelessly to bring an end to the situation and bring justice to the family.

Marcus Lee Lewis was charged with second-degree murder in the case. He was arrested last December after a police-involved shooting in Reno, Nevada, and is currently in custody there.
