Remains discovered 30 years ago in central Florida finally identified

Three decades after hunters discovered skeletal remains in an Orange County wasteland, authorities have been able to identify them. An Orange County Sheriff's Office investigation revealed evidence that 48-year-old Richard Wick was the victim of a homicide. Her remains were found on October 2, 1993. OCSO is now asking the public for any information that could help solve the case.

ORANGE COUNTY, Florida —

Three decades after skeletal remains were discovered by hunters in an Orange County wasteland, authorities have been able to identify them.

An Orange County Sheriff's Office investigation revealed evidence that 48-year-old Richard Wick was the victim of a homicide. His remains were found on October 2, 1993.
