Pune Porsche Accident News: BIG TWIST in teen drunk driving case as cops reveal how blood sample was tampered with

The investigation into the Porsche accident in Pune took a new turn when police found that two doctors at Pune's Sassoon Hospital had tampered with the blood sample of the 17-year-old involved in the accident. The doctors were arrested earlier on Monday.

Addressing a press conference, Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar said, “Sections 120 (B), 467 forgery and 201, 213, 214 destruction of evidence have been added in this case. We received the forensic report yesterday and it was revealed that the sample taken from Sassoon Hospital, which the doctor sealed there and wrote the name of the minor accused before sending it to the forensic doctors, did not was not the sample of the accused minor… After that, we arrested the doctors who sealed this report and sent it to the forensic doctors.”

“Preliminary investigation revealed that on May 19, around 11 a.m., the blood sample taken from Sassoon Hospital was thrown into a dustbin at the hospital and the blood sample from a other person had been taken and sent to the forensic laboratory ..CMO Srihari Halnor replaced this blood sample During the investigation, we found that Srihari Halnor replaced it on the instructions of the forensic medicine department. Two IT professionals died on Sunday, May 19, in a motorcycle accident involving a speeding Porsche car, allegedly driven by a minor. Police say the teen was intoxicated. Initially released on bail, public outcry and a police review led to the juvenile being placed in an observation house until June 5.
