Private guard kills another teenager in Karachi

In another tragic incident in Karachi on Friday, where a security guard shot and killed a scavenger boy. According to initial reports, the incident followed an argument between the boy and the guard, identified as Ramzan, in the North Karachi area.

During the violent argument, the guard fired a shot, hitting the boy in the stomach, then fled with his gun. Police officials confirmed that the boy succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The incident took place within the jurisdiction of Sir Syed police station. A search operation was launched to apprehend Ramzan and bring him to justice.

Earlier this week, a young TikToker was shot dead by a private security guard near the Sarina mobile market, north of Nazimabad. Central SSP Zeeshan Shafiq Siddiqi reported that Saad Ahmed, 24, was making a TikTok video in front of the market. The guard, identified as Ahmed Gul, became furious when the young man pointed at him during the filming. Armed with a Kalashnikov rifle, the guard shot Saad, who suffered serious gunshot wounds and died on the way to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Taimuria police have since arrested the guard.
