Prince Albert: Second victim of 2024 murder identified

The Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) said the victim of Monday's homicide has been identified as Norman Wenzel.

At around 1.15pm, officers were called to a house in Kemp Crescent following a complaint of a disturbance where they found the 41-year-old man suffering from serious injuries.

Wenzel later succumbed to his injuries at Victoria Hospital.

Police said an autopsy was carried out on Tuesday. This is Prince Albert's second homicide in 2024.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.

Anyone living in the area of ​​the 100-800 block of 15th Avenue East and McIntosh Drive, from 1st Street East to 15th Avenue East, is asked to check their home surveillance footage for suspicious activity and, if you have any information, to contact police.
