Hyderabad: Condemning the statement of BRS leader RS ​​Praveen Kumar who demanded that Kollapur and Achampet Assembly segments be declared the most sensitive areas in Telangana State, Senior Vice President of the Congress Committee of Telangana Pradesh (TPCC) Mallu Ravi said that the BRS leader had lost his mental balance and was speaking without knowing the real situation.

Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan here on Sunday, the Congress leader said investigation was on to find out who was behind the murder of BRS leader Sridhar Reddy but RS Praveen Kumar was wearing baseless allegations against Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and the state government.

Mallu Ravi, who contested for the post of Lok Sabha member from Nagarkurnool on behalf of the Congress party, recalled that when RS Praveen Kumar was Superintendent of Police of Anantapur district, TDP chief Paritala Ravi , had been murdered, but the government had not questioned him. and took no action against him.

The Congress leader also criticized RS Praveen Kumar's statement who warned that he would demolish Congress leaders' houses in Kollapur with bulldozers.

“When Praveen Kumar was SP of Karimnagar district, he was indirectly responsible for killing many innocent Dalits and children of weaker sections in encounters. Praveen Kumar has no right to talk about people from the weaker and more backward classes,” said Mallu Ravi.

The Congress leader alleged that RS Praveen Kumar had mortgaged the interests of Dalits to BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao and was openly lying against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
