Police: Vancouver teen missing from mall in 'suspicious' case

Crystal was last seen at the mall earlier Tuesday. His phone was found abandoned outside.

VANCOUVER, Wash. — The Vancouver Police Department is asking for the public's help in searching for a teenager who went missing near the Vancouver Mall on Tuesday.

Crystal was last seen at the mall earlier Tuesday, according to the agency. Her phone was found abandoned in the area just outside the mall at 12:53 p.m.

Crystal was last seen wearing glasses and a light pink hoodie with the words “My pronouns are she/they” on the front in purple letters, white/blue cotton “jogger” pants and sandals black and blue. She has shoulder-length reddish-brown hair and is probably wearing diamond earrings.

VPD said she was approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighed 110 pounds. She is extremely shy and might not feel comfortable talking to strangers.

“This incident is being treated as an extremely suspicious incident and is currently being investigated with high priority and all available resources,” the VPD said.

Anyone with information about Crystal's disappearance is asked to call the Vancouver Police Department as soon as possible.

This is a developing story and may be updated with more details as they emerge.
