Police standoff underway after Greenville shooting

UPDATE: According to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, deputies and SWAT members are currently on scene at East Standing Springs Road after a fleeing suspect with active arrest warrants barricaded himself in a house in Simpsonville. Deputies are working to peacefully negotiate with the suspect. Previous story below: A representative with the Greenville Police Department says a person is on the run after a shooting in downtown Greenville. The suspect was allegedly filmed filming outside the front door of the office of a luxury apartment complex. Police say the suspect has a history of conflicts with management at the 400 Rhett Street apartment complex. Officers are trying to locate that person after someone found the bullet hole Saturday morning shortly after 7 a.m. Diana Munoz of the Greenville Police Department said SWAT was called to the scene. She said as of 11:45 p.m. the subject had still not been located. . Witnesses sent us photos of several police vehicles outside the building blocking nearby roads. Greenville police said they will release the suspect's name and additional information once the person is in custody. We will update this story as this information becomes available.

A representative with the Greenville Police Department said one person is on the run after a shooting in downtown Greenville.

The suspect was allegedly filmed filming outside the front door of the office of a luxury apartment complex.
