JAMAICA, Queens (PIX11) — Police shot and killed an armed person in Queens where two people were found stabbed Thursday, police sources said.

The incident happened at the intersection of 94th Avenue and Sutphin Boulevard in Jamaica around 5:15 p.m., according to the NYPD.


According to the preliminary investigation, the police believe that the incident was the result of a family dispute.

“Due to a police investigation in the [NYPD’s 103rd precinct]“Avoid the area of ​​94th Avenue and Sutphin Blvd in Queens. Expect police presence and residual traffic delays in the area,” the NYPD posted on social media.
