One of those killed was identified as 29-year-old Lonnie Johnston. The identity of the second victim has not yet been released.

Investigators believe there were multiple shooters.

Police say detectives believe the persons of interest fought back after shots were fired at them.

Anyone who knows the identities or whereabouts of these individuals is asked to call the Columbus Police Homicide Units at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477 (TIPS).

Earlier in the evening, a vigil was held at the park for 18-year-old Da'Mya Cummerlander. The woman was fatally shot early Sunday morning in the 2600 block of Woodsedge Road. Police say it's unclear whether Monday night's shooting is related to the vigil.

A 20-year-old man, Kenneth Hairston, was charged with manslaughter in Cummerlander's death.

Sgt. Joe Albert said about 50 people were in the park for the vigil when officers arrived.

No information on a suspect was available.
