Omaha police responded to 402 Smoke Shop & Vapes near 108th Street and Emmet Street around 4 p.m. Saturday for a reported shooting. Officers located an 18-year-old victim outside the store who had suffered serious gunshot wounds to his spine and face.

Prosecutors revealed Monday that the entire incident was filmed. In the footage, Green and the victim can be seen exchanging words at the door of the smoking room. A short time later, Green exited the store and approached a vehicle occupied by the victim.

Police said the video shows Green's girlfriend approaching him before Green stepped forward and fired more than two shots at the victim.

Green turned himself in Saturday evening with the gun used in the incident.

According to prosecutors, Green told police during an interview that he did not know the victim, but when he entered the store, the victim allegedly said, “you know what time it is,” which Green interpreted it as a threat.

The police affidavit also states that Green told police the victim had a gun in his fanny pack and that he began to pull it out when Green shot him in an attempt to protect his girlfriend .

Green's preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 15.
