Police investigating shooting in Ogden Saturday afternoon

OGDEN, Utah — The Ogden Police Department responded to a shooting that sent one person to the hospital Saturday afternoon.

According to a Facebook post from the Ogden Police Department, officers responded to the shooting around 1:29 p.m. The shooting took place at 123 N. Harrisville Road.

Upon arrival, police said they learned one person had been transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. They also discovered a firearm and property damage.

Police have identified several persons of interest and victims in this case. They said this was an isolated incident and there was no current danger to the public.

The investigation is ongoing.

Although police were able to collect evidence, they are asking anyone with information related to the shooting in Ogden to contact dispatch at 801-395-8221.
