Police investigate stabbing in South Charleston

Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred following an argument in south Charleston Friday evening.

Reports of a stabbing came in around 10 p.m. at the Speedway gas station along MacCorkle Avenue. According to South Charleston Police, the victim and suspect knew each other.

The suspect saw the victim at the gas station and caused a collision while trying to approach her. The extent of the victim's injuries is currently unknown.

Police confirm no arrests have been made but a person of interest has been identified.
