Police investigate fatal stabbing in Bronx

Bronx police are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred Thursday evening at a public housing complex in the Bronx.

Officers from the 42nd Precinct and PSA #7 responded to a 911 call regarding a man stabbed in front of 1420 Washington Ave., Morrisania, around 9:42 p.m. on June 13. When officers arrived, they found 29-year-old Lilly. Nelquan, who lives at this address, is covered in blood and has stab wounds all over his body, police said.

Emergency services were on site and transported the man to Saint-Barnabé hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police do not yet have a motive for the crime or a description of the suspect(s) involved. So far no arrests have been made.

The case is still ongoing.
