Police investigate after teen stabbing – The Royal Gazette

Police have opened an investigation into the stabbing of an 18-year-old man, which could put his life in danger.

A police spokesperson said officers and other first responders were called to a residence in Hamilton Parish around 5:35 p.m. yesterday after receiving reports that a young man had been injured during an altercation with another man.

Upon arrival, paramedics immediately began treating the man, who was unresponsive and appeared to have suffered a stab wound.

He was then transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he continues to receive treatment for injuries considered life-threatening.

A male suspect, aged 17, is currently in custody.
