Police identify two dead in Winton Hills triple shooting

CINCINNATI — Two people are dead and a third person was hospitalized after a shooting in Winton Hills early Saturday morning, Cincinnati police said.

Police identified the victims as Zyonn Reliford-Gilbert, 24, and Kevin Barton, 38.

Around 3 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 5200 block of Holland Drive for a reported shooting.

When officers arrived, they said they found a man outside who had been shot in the head and chest. The victim called police to the scene, CPD said.

The victim was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he underwent surgery, CPD said. Police said they were in stable condition.

Police say everything appears to have happened inside the residence and “there appeared to be some type of conflict.”

Reliford-Gilbert and Barton were found inside the home with gunshot wounds, police said. They both died instantly.

Police said the hospitalized victim was the only witness to the shooting.

CPD has not released any information on potential suspects.

It's unclear what exactly led to the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to call the CPD Homicide Unit at 513-352-3542.
