Police identify third suspect and homicide victim after north Tulsa shooting, still searching for suspect | News

UPDATE (05/24/24) : Police have identified the third suspect in Thursday's north Tulsa homicide and are asking for help finding him.

Noah Crisman is wanted by police following the Thursday night shooting near North Harvard Avenue and East Admiral Court that left one man dead.

FOX23 reported that Christopher and James Leiter were arrested for first-degree murder after the shooting.

Crisman is charged with first-degree murder and is on the run.

Police identified the homicide victim as Greg Dumas.

Detectives are actively trying to find him. Anyone with information about Crisman or his whereabouts should call 911.


UPDATE (05/24/24) : The Tulsa Police Department arrested James Leiter and Christopher Leiter in connection with the deadly shooting in north Tulsa Thursday.

Brothers James and Christopher were booked into custody shortly after midnight Friday on first-degree murder charges.

According to the arrest and detention report, James and Christopher arranged a drug deal to take place at a home near North Harvard Avenue and East Admiral Court on May 23.

The two brothers arrived in two separate vehicles and parked on the street before a third individual approached James' vehicle.

The report states that James gave the drugs to the third person who, in turn, gave James money. After this, James realized that the third individual had given him counterfeit money. James then told Christopher, who was parked behind him, to “get him.”

The third individual then ran towards the house and shot James and Christopher. Christopher then shot 10 times into the house, which was occupied by five people.

According to the arrest and indictment report, the homicide victim was inside the home and was not involved in drug trafficking. He was visiting a friend when Christopher fired into the house and was shot in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:07 p.m.

James and Christopher left the scene in their vehicles which were filmed on CCTV.

Around 7 p.m., the brothers returned to the crime scene in one of the two identified suspect vehicles.

The report says police made contact with James and Christopher and found an assault rifle. They were taken to the detective division and admitted that they were at the house on a drug deal and had been given counterfeit money, stating that the third individual had shot them and that Christopher had taken his rifle and fired at the house shortly after.

Detectives also interviewed independent witnesses. Investigators said statements from witnesses and James and Christopher indicate that the third person involved in the drug deal started the shooting, was inside the house while Christopher was shooting and that he had stopped shooting when Christopher shot into the house and killed the homicide. victim.

The third individual fled the scene on foot and is not in custody.
