Police cite teen with knife for disturbance in Riverside Park: Chagrin Falls Police Blotter

CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio

Suspect: Riverside Park

Police cited a 15-year-old Russell Township boy with juvenile charges on May 24 and released him to his parents after a disturbance during Blossomtime in Riverside Park.

While attending the festivities in the park, another boy told a police officer in person that the teen had threatened him with a gun.

After locating the suspect, officers found a knife in a holster on the boy's waist that could have easily been mistaken for a gun.

Disturbance: Main Street North

Police responded at 12:36 p.m. on May 21 to an address for a disturbance involving a 29-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman.

Officers separated them and determined they were living with the man's parents.

No criminal act took place. The woman was transported to a friend's home in Shaker Heights.

Disturbance: carriage driving

Arriving at a home at 11:26 a.m. on May 23, officers observed a man and woman arguing.

After investigating and hearing witness statements, police charged the man, a 33-year-old Beachwood resident, with disorderly conduct.

He was given a mandatory court date and a free ride home.

Disturbance: West Carriage Drive

Police were called after an argument between two women aged 42 and 49 turned into a physical altercation at 6:38 p.m. on May 25.

The incident report was forwarded to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor for review and possible charges.
